With LanTEK IV-S, it is simple for users to wirelessly upload results to the TREND AnyWARE Cloud test management system, preventing data from being lost or delayed. Plus, plot data is automatically saved every time, with every test.
The recent AnyWARE EXPLORER update has made the test data management even more efficient. It provides a unique, intuitive folder structure (similar to that found on a PC), allowing tests to be organised between the project, building, floor, room, and rack, making navigation simpler.

With a LanTEK IV-S cable certifier, users can already conduct and save a Cat6A test within 7 seconds. However, to be future-ready, the tester’s enhanced functionality also certifies links up to Cat8.1 and Cat8.2, including TCL and Resistance Unbalance. It will also test to 3000MHz providing room for future ratified ISO and TIA test standards.
As part of our Depend On Us philosophy, software updates are always free for our testers. Now, we are making that even easier for LanTEK IV-S users. Our next operating software update will allow all future software updates to be done automatically via Wi-Fi. Users will receive on-screen notifications that an update is available and simply tap to install, similar to a mobile phone app update. It’s faster, more convenient, and eliminates the need for a PC for updating your tester software.

Trying to explain an issue over the phone to a colleague elsewhere is never easy, and wastes time troubleshooting. With LanTEK IV-S, we introduced TeamViewer Live Support to remove that frustration. Co-workers based on other sites or back in the office can collaborate and see the tests you’re conducting in real time, to help get to the bottom of any issues. If needed, the TREND Networks technical support team can also remote in to the tester.
