Free LanTEK III Cable Certifier Software Update Offers Helpful New Functions
The popular IDEAL Networks LanTEK III cable certifier has received a new, free software update to help installers test and certify copper and fiber optic cabling more easily than ever before.
The upgraded software for LanTEK III is designed to make the handheld certifier even more user friendly with some helpful new features. Here’s what you can expect from the new software update.
Certify Modular Plug Terminated Links with LanTEK III
Certifying MPTLs (Modular Plug Terminated Links) is increasingly important for installers working with cabling links that have a female socket (jack) on one side and a male plug on the other, such as AV equipment or CCTV cameras. Thanks to the new software, LanTEK III now supports testing MPTL with no need to purchase any additional accessories. Quick calibration for channel testing
With the new IDEAL Networks software, you can easily speed up the process of channel testing. The software removes the need for field calibration for patch cords, so you will no longer need to re-calibrate your LanTEK III cable certifier between tests to ensure accuracy.
LanTEK III software enhancements improve user experience
The latest software update for LanTEK III also includes improvements to the Russian and French translations to support customers globally, alongside bug fixes and general enhancements.
