The structured cabling system is a critical enabling technology for communications systems in all kinds of environments. It serves as the central nervous system for delivering information, and in many cases power as well, to connected devices. As more building systems become connected to the network, the processes as well as the technologies required to commission a structured cabling system can become more complex. This presentation will look at how cable testing is evolving, and discuss how adopting different processes, systems, and testing tools can help contractors overcome common challenges, save time, and manage capital expenditure more effectively.
