HR Director leads team transformation at TREND Networks
TREND Networks has appointed a new Human Resources Director to help lead a number of important changes within the company and help expand the team.
HR Director Katie Stocks, based at TREND Networks head office in Stokenchurch, UK, has already spent a lot of time travelling to the company’s global offices to work closely with local teams. This has included several trips to the US, where she has been instrumental in setting up an entirely new US TREND Networks office in New Jersey.
The brand new facility, which has been up and running since June 2019, includes customer service and technical support departments as well as a dedicated training centre. In addition, Katie been welcoming and supporting a number of new members of the US team, such as Jim Hunter, who was appointed this year into the new role of Vice President of Sales for North America.
Since joining the company in March 2019, Katie has also focused on enhancing communications between global offices. Along with implementing an up to date HR system, she has introduced regular town hall meetings and lunch and learn sessions to provide team members with opportunities to both communicate and develop.
Prior to joining TREND Networks, Katie’s career has included roles in HR consultancies and the finance industry, working in both the UK and Eastern Europe.
Outside of the office, Katie enjoys authentic city breaks and has a keen eye for interior design. She has recently restored her family home, sourcing soft furnishings during a trip to Marrakech.
