Save time and money with the streamlined LanTEK IV-L (Lite) cable certifier
TREND Networks introduces the LanTEK IV-L: High-performance cable certification without the hefty price tag. The entry-level LanTEK IV-L delivers essential Cat 6A copper testing capabilities in a streamlined, affordable package.
Despite its compact design, the LanTEK IV-L (Lite) delivers rapid and reliable certification of Cat 6A/Class EA copper cables, helping you save both time and money without compromising accuracy.
A dependable and cost-effective solution
The new handheld device can certify target cables in just 10 seconds, including DCRU/PoE compliance, TECL noise immunity and distance to NEXT fault measurements, efficiently allowing technicians to certify a network’s total capability without escalating costs while achieving more with your certification projects.
While tailored for novice technicians, the LanTEK IV-L is also useful for experienced users to help improve efficiency and reliability, as well as optimise useability. Compact, easy to use, and intuitive, it fills a gap in the market and will ensure precise and dependable results every time.
LanTEK IV-L presents seamless, transparent reporting
Developed with the familiar TREND Networks user interface, the device can generate seamless reports using the TREND AnyWARE Cloud ecosystem, helping to reduce call-backs through remote monitoring, troubleshooting and management of network cables, including the assessment of cable length and pinpointing cabling faults. Users can easily share test data and manage test results, enhancing real-time collaboration between project managers and field technicians and improving report efficiency.
In addition, the TREND AnyWARE Cloud software enables sharing of report links and access to all project files in one place. Online re-certification is also possible through the system, saving time, money, and unsustainable callbacks.
Visual indicator for ease of use
The innovative VisiLINQ permanent link adapters are standard with all LanTEK IV certifiers, including the LanTEK IV-L, and are field replaceable to reduce the cost of ownership.
Once connected to the port, the link adapters light up red (fail) or green (pass) in seconds. The visual indication presents a unique way to test cables – and is a practical alternative to the simple beep of other certifiers, making it easier to identify test status in loud server rooms, for example, and increase productivity.
