Copper cable certification<\/a> is essential for ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of copper cabling in various applications, such as data centres, telecommunication networks, and other critical infrastructure. The webinar will delve into the Standards of cable certification \u2013 namely, choosing the right Class, Link Model and Link Type for the test, as well as how to identify the \u201cMax\u201d measurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will also cover the values of cable certification: IL (Insertion Loss), RL (Return Loss), NEXT (Near-End Crosstalk), Resistance and Calculated Values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional values will be explained in detail during the webinar, including TCL (Transverse Conversion Loss) and DCRU (Direct Current Resistance Unbalance). TCL evaluates the level of twisting symmetry between the wires in a cabling pair and is a critical parameter for verifying the cable’s EMI immunity. DCRU is the measurement that is performed on the cabling after installation to test for differences in DC resistance and, helps to avoid issues in the Transmission of PoE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
