IDEAL Welcomes New Group HR Manager
IDEAL Networks is pleased to announce the appointment a new HR Manager for IDEAL INDUSTRIES. Erin Melia, a Human Resources professional from Northampton, UK, has joined the IDEAL INDUSTRIES team as Group HR Manager for EMEA, India and North America, working across the IDEAL Networks, IDEAL Electrical and Casella Solutions businesses.
Since starting in the position in April 2016, Erin has quickly found her feet in her new role at IDEAL. Prior to joining the team, Erin worked as Head of HR for an FMCG food manufacturing company and has also worked in both manufacturing and service environments with businesses such as the Photo Corporation, Carlsberg and Dawn Farms.
“It is an exciting time to be part the IDEAL group, and I am looking forward to supporting the future growth of our employees, and of the business, I want IDEAL to be recognised as a great place for people to succeed, learn and grow,” says Erin Melia.
Working in HR for her entire career, Erin specialises in performance management, employee relations and engagement, and recruitment. “Erin’s skills are a great addition to the IDEAL team,” says Tim Widdershoven, Global Marketing Manager for IDEAL Networks. “We are always keen to welcome high calibre professionals and we look forward to working with Erin.”
When she’s not dedicating herself to human resources, Erin enjoys sports and is a season ticket holder for Northampton Saints rugby club. She also enjoys horse riding and boxing, and actively supports charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support and The Wooden Spoon Charity, which uses rugby to fundraise for disadvantaged and disabled children in the UK and Ireland.
