New appointments for TREND Networks in North America

TREND Networks, leading global manufacturer of cable and network test equipment, has made additions to its team in North America.

The company has appointed two new Regional Sales Managers to expand its sales team to meet demand. Nathan Schmidt, who is based out of Chicago, will be working with local distribution partners, rep agencies, and customers in the Central US and Canada. Jeff Conklin, who is based near New York, is a specialist in cable certification and test and measurement and will be taking care of the Northeast US and Canada.

Carol Cote, who will be based out of TREND Networks’ New Jersey office, has also been appointed as Customer Services Lead. She will support customers across North America with order processing and customer service queries. She brings experience in both customer support and sales to benefit the role. Tom Tornetto also joins the team in the Rockaway office, in a Global Marketing Support role.

“To ensure we can deliver the dependable products and service that our customers need and support our new product development pipeline, we are investing in our people and expanding our team worldwide,” says Paul Walsh, CEO, for TREND Networks. “Our expanding team in the US also bring specific experience that will support our continued growth in this region.”

TREND Networks recently acquired Terahertz Technologies Inc. (TTI) in Oriskany, New York, adding its knowledgeable team to the company’s headcount. To support the high demand for the new FiberMASTER tester series, new positions have also been created. Carla Koshland has joined the team as Inventory Lead, supporting supply chain and operations. Meanwhile, Billy Connolly, Ed Long, and Gordon Fox all join as Production Technicians and Tony Loor has joined as a Mechanical Engineer.  Melvin Smith has also been appointed in Assembly.

The TTI site is TREND Networks’ designated center of excellence for research and development for fiber products and technologies. It also provides manufacturing capability for the newest FiberMASTER testers, which are made in the USA.

Globally, TREND Networks has recently appointed several key Customer Service, Technical Support and Sales positions, plus roles covering Supply Chain, Market Intelligence, Hardware, and Software.

In North America, the company is still currently recruiting positions to support its expanding operations, including Warehouse Lead and Accountant roles. Visit the ‘Careers’ area of the TREND Networks website to see all available vacancies.

“It is a really exciting time for our business with new product launches following our rebrand and introduction of our new Depend On Us Philosophy,” continues Walsh. “We are delighted to welcome our new team members globally to make sure our customers receive the very best.”
