IDEAL Networks has extended its reach in Asia with the opening of a new IDEAL INDUSTRIES office in Shanghai, China.
Located in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, the new 1200 square metre facility includes an office, showroom, training centre and warehouse. The IDEAL INDUSTRIES Asia Ltd. office will ensure that IDEAL Networks’ easy to use data cable and network testers can meet the needs of cable installers and network IT technicians across China effectively.
Customers were invited to visit the office on 8th September 2016 for an official opening ceremony where Martin Van Os, Vice President of IDEAL INDUSTRIES Inc., delivered a speech reiterating the company’s confidence in the growth potential of the Asia Pacific region. Later that evening, a further event for employees and distributors took place, not only marking the opening of the new office, but also celebrating the 100-year anniversary of IDEAL INDUSTRIES Inc. Founder J. Walter Becker launched the IDEAL Commutator Dresser Company in 1916 which has now grown into the eight different companies that comprise the IDEAL group, trading worldwide across six continents.
At the event, IDEAL also recognised the outstanding distributors which have contributed to the growth of the business in Asia. This continued at a National Distributor Meeting the following day which focused on the long-term strategy of IDEAL INDUSTRIES in Asia and business growth in China as well as revealing new product launches planned for the region in 2017.
“Investment in the new facility in Shanghai demonstrates how dedicated IDEAL INDUSTRIES is to supporting the market in Asia,” says Tim Widdershoven, Global Marketing Manager for IDEAL Networks. “We will continue to provide Chinese distributors and customers with unique, effective products and first-rate customer service.”
